IPL 7 Auction: Kings XI Punjab full list of players bought
The Kings XI Punjab have their team logo as that of a lion and sport dark red jerseys in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The team is co-owned by Bollywood star Priety Zinta and business tycoon Ness Wadia and have Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium in Mohali as their home ground.
The team have been semi-finalists in the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008 and have failed to replicate the form in the remaining versions of the tournament, crashing out in the Group-stages on all five occasions.
The team though considered as a heavyweight initially have never shown the form that was so expected from them after the 2008 IPL.
Kings XI retained South African limited-overs specialist David Miller and uncapped Indian batsman Manan Vohra.
